Antique Aprons for Quilting

Does anyone out there think they might enjoy using vintage aprons for a quilting project? If so, please drop me a line with your contact info. I was just contacted by someone who unearthed several while cleaning out an attic, and she’s looking for some quilters who might have a use for them!

I’d love the opportunity to see and use some vintage aprons for a quilting project. I’m thinking a quilted apron, using a pattern traced from the original and made up in reproduction fabrics – I’m rather messy while cooking, especially at Thanksgiving! So many ideas come to mind …

I’d love to see/own any of the antique aprons. I volunteer for a hospital auxiliary and we will be celebrating 100 years of helping in the community. Over the years, the members cooked food for the hospital, sewed, did bandages and a zillion other things. It would be nice to wear an antique apron in honour of our women of the past.
