This has been such an oddball past few months that I am just now getting around to posting about a series of articles I wrote for Machine Quilting Unlimited Magazine about ruler work using a home sewing machine. The first article is in the July/August 2016 edition: Here is the spread of the first part of that article: The 2nd installment of Ruler Work on a Domestic machine is in the September/October issue which is on the newsstand now. Here is a shot of that cover: …and here is a shot of the opening spread of that 2nd article: The 3rd article will be out in the November/December issue. If you have any interest in sit-down ruler work, these articles are a great place to start. If you don’t subscribe to Machine Quilting Unlimited Magazine, or haven’t ever perused an issue, I urge you to check out this magazine. You can subscribe to it online by clicking here. This is by far my favorite quilting magazine and each issue comes through with wonderful close-up shots of detailed machine quilting. You will not find another magazine with more inspiration and education about machine quilting. If it’s not on your radar, it should be! Now let’s get back to playing with rulers!
