Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to Patsy for such a fun birthday giveaway. And more importantly, Happy Birthday Patsy. I hope you adopt my theory that if a toddler gets to take a day to celebrate the lst birthday and someone that turns 100 certainly deserves a year to celebrate, that you deserve more than a day to celebrate! Have fun…and keep celebrating your birthday.

Just found your blog a few days ago- only to realize that I recognized your leaves! They helped inspire a current project I’m on. Just wanted to tell you thank you so much for sharing your creations with people, and thank you for giving me so many beautiful pictures to stare at!!!! I hope I can get that good!

Patsy, I just wanted you to know I put on my “Patsy” big girl shoes this morning and I finally tackled the free motion feather! I am so thrilled I purchased your DVD. As soon as I have more practice, I’ll purchase another of your DVD’s. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!

Thank you, Patsy, for letting us celebrate your birthday with such terrific prizes! My Tonga Treats – Sugarplum arrived today, and I’m sew very excited to begin my very first “real” quilt! I don’t want to mess up the pretty fabrics, so I picked a really easy design that will showcase the prints:

I can only dream that one day, I’ll get up the courage to learn the beautiful feathers that you do, probably in your sleep!

Thanks again, and I hope to share a picture or 2 along the way! Oh, btw, the finished product will be given to one of our local Veterans Administrations. And if it goes together well, I guess I’ll just have to buy another jelly roll to give to the other one! 🙂 Hugs!!
