Just For the Fun of It!
One thing that happens when you turn your love for quilting into a business is that you find yourself spending most of your sewing/quilting time/effort at meeting deadlines for the business part of things and don’t have much time/energy left over to make things just for the fun of it. I’m talking about making something that has no goal in it other than for the pure joy of loving the process. This used to represent 100% of my sewing/quilting time, but I digress… About a year ago, I made the top of this quilt pictured below that I’m calling “Just For the Fun of It.”![JFF1](https://blog.patsythompsondesigns.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/JFF1.gif)

Magic!!! I know the feeling, I love quilting for my clients, but some sewing for me from time to time is always a treat! Love what you made.
Hurray…you had fun…took time to enjoy the process…that is the gift. Naturally that adds great beauty and energy to your quilt and it shows.

I love this quilt, the colors are so wonderful. I do understand quilting for the fun of it. I am almost caught up with the deadlines and then will do something just for the fun of it too!!!
